Cooling the cheese strands
It was necessary to optimize the design of the cooling bath for cheese thread production by integrating the cooling pipe into the bath shell. The purpose of the design optimization was to simplify the sanitation of the tub, since the original tub had the cooling pipe loosely embedded in the cooling funnel.
Our work consisted of the following steps: measurement of cooling capacity and dimensional parameters of the existing bath, design of structural optimization, creation of thermal calculation models of both variants and virtual verification of cooling capacity of our concept, detailed design of the bath, creation of production documentation.
