Handling KLT boxes
The need to construct a belt slide to move KLT boxes between two roller tracks in three levels, overcoming the differences in height of the preceding and following roller track
Design processing of the transfer station for moving KLT boxes with material. The shifting machine consists of a total of 6 belt segments placed in 3 levels. Each segment has its own drive, sensors that detect the position of the boxes and a lever lifting mechanism. To ensure smooth transitions between conveyor levels, we designed different segment lifts to compensate for the different heights. A design challenge in the design of the facility was to design the location and orientation of the lifting mechanism of the lower transfers while maintaining their height requirement from the ground and keeping the complexity of the components to a minimum. The slide was subsequently manufactured at the client's site.
